Breast cancer is considered a major cause of cancer death among women in the developed world, especially in emerging countries. It is also the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the world. The early detection of cancer is the basis for the treatment of breast cancer and survival results. However, the fact that the early stages of breast cancer is often asymptomatic detection of early breast cancer difficult. It is therefore important that women realize the importance of routine screening tests such as mammography for cancer detection at an early stage.
